From July 2023 The Government is working towards changes for those from New Zealand who want to become an Australian Citizen.
What does this mean? This means that New Zealand citizens do not need to be permanent residents before becoming an Australian Citizen. This is one way citizenship is being fast tracked by the Government.
The Australian Government Schemes are only available to Citizens so new Citizens will benefit from the Government Schemes eg 5% Deposit No Mortgage Insurance, as long as they meet the other Scheme qualifications.
